Privacy policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This policy explains what personal data AMOUFY collects through this site, why, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).
Data controller
AMOUFY, 50 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France, is the controller of the data collected on this site.
For any question about your personal data, you can contact us via the contact form or by telephone on +33 7 56 79 89 00.
Data collected
We only collect data when you complete the contact form. This consists of:
- your company, your name and your business email address;
- your telephone number and, if you provide it, your WhatsApp number;
- your country and, if you provide them, your business sector and the product category concerned;
- the description of your requirement and, where applicable, the attachment you choose to send us (PDF or XLSX);
- the site language you use.
This information is provided directly by you. Fields marked with an asterisk are required to process your request; without them, we cannot respond to it.
For site security, your IP address is used temporarily to limit the number of form submissions, and the server records technical connection logs.
Purposes and legal bases
- To respond to your information or quote request and, where applicable, to prepare a commercial relationship: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and AMOUFY’s legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Ensuring the security of the site and preventing abuse (submission limits, technical logs): legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Contacting you again via WhatsApp if you give us this number: your voluntary action (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Your data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties and is not subject to any automated decision-making or profiling.
Recipients
Your data is intended for authorised AMOUFY staff. It is processed on our behalf by technical service providers: a website hosting provider and an email-sending provider (Amazon Web Services, Amazon SES service, Frankfurt region, European Union). These providers act only on our instructions.
Should data be transferred outside the European Union, it would be governed by appropriate safeguards (adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).
Retention periods
- Contact requests and related correspondence: 3 years from our last exchange with you, then deletion or anonymised archiving.
- Attachments stored on the site’s server: 30 days, then automatic deletion (the copy received by email follows the retention period stated above).
- Technical connection logs: limited period, strictly necessary for the security and proper operation of the site.
- IP address used to limit submissions: kept for less than one minute.
Cookies and trackers
This site uses no cookies, no audience measurement tools and no advertising trackers, and loads no resources from third-party servers (fonts are hosted on our own server). No consent banner is therefore required.
The link to our LinkedIn page is a simple link: by clicking on it, you leave this site and become subject to LinkedIn’s privacy policy.
Security
We apply appropriate measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), storage of attachments in a space not accessible from the internet, control of accepted file types, limitation of the number of submissions and restricted access to data.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and, where applicable, portability of your data, as well as the right to give instructions about what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact form or by telephone on +33 7 56 79 89 00. We reply within one month. We may ask you for proof of identity in the event of reasonable doubt.
You may withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on it, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.
